  I was on vacations in Virginia Beach and I had a horrible pain in my left side of my mouth. fast forward.. I have a bridge I did 3 years ago. When I checked with my regular dentist, he told me there is nothing there. I changed not one but 5 dentists and did Xrays 4 times. The answer was same. NOTHING IS WRONG. I was prescribed a medicated mouthwash which had a horrible side effect. It stained permanently my teeth..Anyway when I was on vacation in Virginia Beach , Pain came back stronger than ever. I found Dr. Kevin from yelp. Waiting time was under 10 min. Despite the fact my insurance wasn't clear yet, Dr. Kevin put me in within 7 minutes. I was surprised because other dentists put me on hold for hours until my insurance approves. Looks like there are still left few decent dentists around. Although the X Ray showed nothing, his instincts from experience kicked in. He removed my bridge carefully and he discovered a very bad infection. He explained me that metal from inside my bridge didn't let Xray to show the infection. Many dentists failed to identify this. Now I am on the road of recovery. I hope my review helps the community.   Dr.Ellis is an Excellent Dentist and Becky is equally as Professional and Courteous. Dr.Ellis has been my Dentist and my children's Dentist for many years.

  I have been going to Dr. Ellis ever since I first moved to VA Beach 18 years ago. He has had the same Office Manager the whole time. Always a good experience.
