- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪So disappointed. I’ve been going to Coastal Family Practice for around 14 years. I absolutely love Amy (NP) and she wrote me a prescription for allergy medicine that worked great. Well when the time came to get a refill, my pharmacy sent them two requests and neither were returned until I called - miraculously they answered the phone - and asked them to return the request. My husband is also being transferred out of state so I started collecting all of my medical documents to bring to my new doctors and dentists in our new state. While on the phone with them, I asked the office staff if there is any special procedure for acquiring my medical records. She informed me that I would be charged a $20 service fee and $.50 PER PAGE for MY medical records!! Outrageous! I will start from scratch.November 19, 2017by Lauren Oaks
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪By far the worst medical practice I've ever dealt with. For starters you can't ever get them on the phone. Secondly, they charged me for things that should have been covered by my insurance. I confirmed this with my insurance provider. The straw that broke the camels back was when the nurse practitioner recommended a hysterectomy or iron transfusion to remedy my minor anemia. This was done without even examining me. Overall a terrible experience and I'm glad to be a patient at a quality medical practice now.August 17, 2017by Erin Berens
